Downtown Vaughan will have about 6,500 residents by 2020 and 7,700 residents by 2021. The pipeline of approved and proposed applications has enough units to house almost 40,000 residents.

The VMC Mobility Hub already has 15,000 daily subway riders and 5,600 average weekday bus travelers.
